Last week (May 13-18) was "Catalyst", Central Region's leadership development training for our student leaders from MO,IA and KS. About half of the students attending were new leaders and God used the weeks activities to encourage them to step up and not feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of being an IV student leader.
This year we focused our training on the topics of:
*Authority - redeeming authority and our fears about being under authority or a person of authority / influence in someone's life
*Discipleship - knowing how to choose someone to disciple and how to help them grow into the person God wants them to be
*Self-Management - passionately following God's call without burning out or becoming a work-a-holic
I led worship at Catalyst as well as helped develop part of the curriculum for the Authority section of the week. Please pray for this coming weekend when I will be helping to lead worship at the Global Day of Prayer in STL at Bush Stadium (www.praystl.org).
